Jupiter is in fine position for viewing its bands of clouds and 4 largest moons. Early in the evening ,we should be able to catch its Great Red Spot. We also expect to see Saturn and its beautiful rings as well as several of the brightest moons.
The waxing Moon will be 6.3 days past New Moon and 38% illuminated. We can see craters, mountains, rilles, and other details on the surface of the Moon.
