If you arrive early, bright Venus (mag. –3.9) is visible in the west, but will soon set.
Later, we can see Jupiter's tiny moon Europa emerge from behind the planet (occultation) at 8:45 PM.
The waxing Moon will be 3 days past First Quarter and 80% illuminated, with many features visible along the terminator. We can see craters, mountains, rilles, and other details.
