Maturango is celebrating the Vernal (Spring Equinox) with an event for families, adults, and children at the museum from 12-3 PM and we will set up solar telescopes to view our nearest star.

The Sun is in the active part of its 11-year cycle. At the December Solstice event, we saw sunspots, solar prominences, and other details on the Sun's surface. Join us to celebrate the start of Spring (which officially  begins the following day at 12:25:53 PM).
